An African story told in a progressively African way, tone and language, but with a general touch of humanity and projection of divinity; a great source of inspiration and courage to African and even non-African parents who are sometimes tempted to give up on a son or even daughter during the increasingly difficult, unpredictable formative early childhood years and even the transitional early adulthood years of the child. It is also a great morale booster for every child and even adult with life-issues of any sort who can freely and easily relate himself or herself to Akperaka, the protagonist in the story, and so become propelled with an even greater personal confidence and determination—with faith in God above all—to finally overcome all these issues slowly and gradually but steadily and surely. Sometimes people with issues paradoxically help others solve their problems and correct their errors with their experiences, even unknowingly to them, as the story shows.

In this unique-style story, Akperaka is the leading main character, but there are few other main characters as well who inspire quite the same themes or takeaways associated with the story.

On the whole, this story was originally intended to be a good movie script but it turned out to be a beautifully inspired and developed story or novel, probably so it will end up being as well a better movie script that cannot be so easily discarded or modified. It is obviously a must-read, and a good interpretative movie based on it will certainly be a must-watch.
